Good to know

Drafts, and what IICTP is.

These books are drafts, as of 22 October 2026. The Standard is in public review, and the books will change as it does. IICTP is a new independent credentialing body and is not ISO/IEC 17024 accredited. It does not promise employment, salary or employer recognition.

Questions

About the library.

Short answers.

Are the books free?

Yes. Every book in the library is a free PDF.

Which book should I start with?

Start with the Standard itself, or with the Domain Guide for the area you work in. If you are preparing for the ATP® or CTP®, read the guide for each domain and then try the Illustrative Questions and the Casebook.

Are the Illustrative Questions the exam questions?

No. They were written for the TPBOK and are not taken from the exam bank. Doing well on them does not predict a result in the real examination.

Is the Code of Ethics final?

No. The seven canons are published as proposals and are open for comment. The booklet follows the website, and where they differ the website is authoritative.

Why do the books say “draft”?

The Standard is in public review. The Domain Guides, questions, glossary and casebook are cut from version 0.2 of it, so they will change as it does. Comments are welcome at standards@iictp.org.
