About · Governance
IICTP’s credibility rests on one rule: the people who set the standard and guard the exams must have no commercial stake in the outcome. The board is being formed, and this page shows the seats, what each one does, and who may sit in it.
Structure set out in the IICTP operating blueprint.
The rule
To protect the value of the credential, IICTP separates standard-setting from commercial operations.
The board seats
IICTP has no seated board members yet. These are the seats the board is designed to have, and what each requires. To nominate someone, write to standards@iictp.org.

Will maintain exam validity, monitor proctoring security and investigate breaches of the IICTP Code of Ethics.
Will run day-to-day operations, manage Authorized Training Partners, oversee chapters and maintain the verification registry.
Standard operating procedures
To protect assessment validity, the 10 credentials are designed to be recalibrated every year under written Standard Operating Procedures.
Each examination item is designed to be analyzed for discrimination index, difficulty curve and current relevance before it is approved for proctored testing.
No member of the Board of Global Standards or an exam-writing group may author commercial test-prep courses or instruct Authorized Training Partner cohorts.
Credentials are designed to carry a signed record and a decentralized identifier (DID), so an employer can check them without asking IICTP staff.
